In 2008, the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo hosts The Extreme Cowboy Race® hosted by Craig Cameron not once, but twice. The race returns to the Vail/Eagle Valley, May 30-June 1, 2008. When advertisement is transformed by artwork, the product is memorable. Even collectible. Recently the acclaimed international photographer Claude Steelman contributed his image, “No Holding Back,” to the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, who then put this fine artwork to fine effect in an art calendar-poster promoting the three 2008 Horse Expos. This is the first in a planned series of annual calendars from the RMHE, with the intention of shining a daily spotlight on the beauty and drama of the horse.
